AI search

AI search is changing how we find things. Bookmarks still matter.

More and more, people aren't typing a search into Google anymore — they're asking ChatGPT or Perplexity a question and getting a straight answer back, no list of links to scroll through. AI search is changing how we find information. But it's also created a small, easy-to-miss problem: what happens to the actual links behind that answer? Bookmarks still matter when you need those sources later.

You get the answer, but not the source

When an AI gives you an answer, it usually cites a source or two at the bottom, and that's it. There's no results page to leave open in a tab, nothing you naturally bookmark. The conversation just moves on.

But the pages behind those answers are still real websites. They're still worth going back to, and they can still disappear, get moved, or change over time — same as always. In some ways AI search makes this worse: it's now easier than ever to get an answer without holding onto where it came from.

That's the gap not24get.me fills

We built not24get.me around a simple idea: if you find something worth keeping, you should be able to find it again later — easily, without digging through old chats or a messy pile of browser tabs.

It doesn't matter where the link came from. Maybe you found it through a normal Google search, maybe a friend sent it, maybe an AI chat pointed you to it. Either way, if it's worth keeping, it deserves a proper place to live — not just a tab you'll lose track of by tomorrow.

Two things pulling in different directions

AI search is all about speed: ask, get an answer, move on. not24get.me is built for the opposite instinct — slow down for a second and actually hold onto the thing you found. Neither one cancels the other out. If anything, the faster and more disposable discovery gets, the more it helps to have somewhere to keep what actually matters to you.

Finding things online keeps getting faster. Keeping track of them hasn't really kept up — and that's the part we're focused on.

Never lose a link again. Try not24get.me.
